Join us for the inaugural Sun Day Festival, part of a national day of climate action to celebrate the promise of solar energy and advocate for more progress.
This free community celebration, co-hosted with Southern Energy Management and REdesign.build, brings together leading local voices in clean energy, sustainable agriculture, and climate-smart solutions for an afternoon of learning, connection, and action. We’ll also have kids activities, local food and beverage options, and music throughout the afternoon!

Parking:
There is limited parking in the farm parking lot off of Westhaven Drive. If the farm lot is full, there is street parking on cross streets - Electra Drive and Westhaven Drive. We encourage you to carpool, walk, bike to the festival!
Venue Policies:
-All guests will be required to check in at the farm gate upon arrival.
-Please leave your dogs at home.
-Burkett Farm is a working farm. Please be mindful when walking around the farm to stay out of cultivated areas and chicken coops.
-There are stinging insects, such as bees and fire ants, on the property. We strongly urge guests with allergies to bring any relevant medication, such as an Epipen.
-Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Food & Drink:
-There will be food and soft beverages for purchase from A Place at the Table food truck
-Alcoholic beverages are not permitted
-We will have water stations; please bring a refillable water bottle to help us avoid waste.
