Bring On the Volunteers

Burkett Farm has opened its gate to volunteers! On Earth Day our first hard working visitors, from Bland Landscaping Co., came by, and boy were we thankful for the help. The fields were too muddy to tromp around in, but the crew mowed grass, weed-whacked, mulched and more. Thanks to all the volunteers who came out to help Burkett Farm produce fresh, healthy food for those in need.
