It explores how food production, distribution, consumption, and waste management connect, while emphasizing sustainability, equity, and health considerations throughout. Students will make popcorn using locally, regeneratively grown corn kernels from Red Tail Grains, then get the chance to season it using a variety of spices made from the farm's harvest.

Students will collect samples of vermicompost and examine under the microscope to look for signs of a complete soil food web.
