What is a microbe?
Have you ever wanted to be closer to a petal? See what’s hiding between the veins of the leaf? Have you ever wanted to notice something so small?
During this art experience with our friends from A Great Good Space, we will learn about and explore a variety of different microbes found on the farm. We’ll look at bird bath water, flower petals, soil & leaves under the microscope to explore this hidden world. Using everyday materials, we will imagine our own microbes. What do they feel like? What materials might they be? How do they make us feel?
We will also gather around a blank space to uncover and create our own community microbe. What do we notice when we’re together?
Recommended for ages 6-10 with at least one grownup in attendance. (Grownups, please only “purchase tickets” for children attending.)
