Design & Construction

The architect of record is REdesign.build; the firm also oversaw and managed the design and construction of the project. In collaboration with REdesign.build: 

• the power system was designed by Southern Energy Management. 

• the rainwater harvesting system was designed by Rainwater Solutions. 

• the wastewater system was designed by Dr. Albert Rubin of NCSU’s Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Bland Landscaping Co., Crawford Engineering, SWE Group, and Rainwater Solutions. 

The project broke ground in 2020 and the farm team took occupancy in the fall of 2023.
